Authorities recover body of Oklahoma City man who drowned at Lake Murray

Authorities recovered the body of a 32-year-old man who went missing Sunday at Lake Murray State Park. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Eduardo Luna, 32, of Oklahoma City, drowned at the lake.

Authorities have recovered the body of an Oklahoma City man who drowned at Lake Murray in Carter County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

About 1:15 p.m. Sunday, Eduardo Luna, 32, was swimming with family members in the Cisco Road area of Lake Murray, troopers said. Luna’s wife and child stepped into deeper water. Luna attempted to push them into shallow water and drowned, troopers said.

Authorities recovered Luna’s body about 7:30 a.m. Monday. His body was about 125 feet from the shoreline in about seven feet of water, troopers said.
