The state medical examiner’s office Wednesday released the autopsy report for a teenager whose body was found in December in a shallow grave north of Weatherford.

The autopsy report for JaRay Mickell Wilson, 16, confirms previous reports that the girl received two gunshot wounds in her skull. The manner of death was ruled homicide.

Skeletal remains were discovered in a shallow grave near Weatherford on Dec. 17 as part of a 14-month investigation into Wilson’s disappearance. Dental records were used to positively identify the remains as belonging to Wilson.

Tucker McGee, 19, of Weatherford, was arrested shortly after the body was found and charged Dec. 20 by Custer County prosecutors with first-degree murder. He remains in the Custer County jail.

McGee is expected to appear in court June 30. Attorney Randolph Meacham, in Clinton, who is representing McGee, didn’t return a phone message left at his office Wednesday.

Investigators have not determined a motive for the killing, and McGee has refused to be interviewed, said Michael Snowden, an Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control agent who has worked on the case.

The weapon used to shoot Wilson — believed to be a .22-caliber pistol — has not been recovered.

“We believe he (McGee) concealed it,” Snowden said.

Early reports suggested Wilson may have been sold into a human trafficking ring, but Snowden said that was ruled out in the investigation. has disabled the comments for this article.
