Andrea Wallis Petho, formerly of Ramsey, NJ, and William Cobb Aven of Edmond, OK, were united in marriage on August 31, 2013 at The Chapel of St. Edward the Confessor, in The Village; Father Charles Blizzard officiated. The bride is the daughter of the late John H. and the late Elisabeth Stewart Wallis of Westport, CT. The groom is the son of the late Alexander P. and the late Camilla Lytle Aven of Nichols Hills, OK.
Given in marriage by her sons, Ferenc Petho, Jason Petho, Joseph Petho, and Ryan Petho (in absentia), the bride was attended by her sisters, Priscilla Schulz and Jennifer Wallis as bridesmaids; Susan Mungavin served as matron of honor. The groom was given in marriage by his daughter, Erica Aven. Christian Aven, son of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Maxwell Tilford and J. Brandon Story. Serving as flower girl was the bride’s granddaughter, Gracie Petho; John Turner, the groom’s cousin, served as ring bearer.
A reception was held immediately after the ceremony at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club in Nichols Hills.
