Oklahoma beer industry insiders noticed recently that several offerings from Colorado’s Avery Brewing Co. were posted for sale with the state’s ABLE Commission.
This news was not altogether surprising — Avery earlier this year confirmed a return to the Oklahoma market was in the offing. But at the time, Avery founder and President Adam Avery told me he didn’t expect his beers back in the Sooner State until 2015 at the earliest.
Now that timetable has been bumped up, in a big way.
Avery told me this morning that we should expect to see his beers in Oklahoma this month.
“We built in some more capacity here at our current location so back we come to OK!” Avery said. “Shipping this month so PLEASE drink up and spread the word about us in OK!”
So there you have it. The postings include:
-Ellies Brown Ale
-Hog Heaven Dry-Hopped Barleywine Style Ale
-Joe’s American Pilsner
-Karma Belgian Pale Ale
-Out of Bounds Stout
-Salvation Belgian Golden Ale
-The Reverend Belgian Style Quad
-White Rascal Belgian Wheat
