I’m about to "go negative” on you — in a positive way.

Recently, the members of the Oklahoma Film Critics Circle voted for the best films of 2009. The full list can be found at News OK.com. As a group, we voted Kathryn Bigelow’s "The Hurt Locker,” a wrenching action film about a munitions disposal expert serving in Iraq, as the top movie of the year. Naturally, it ran for about five minutes in Oklahoma City theaters, so mark Jan. 12 as an important date to either rent or buy "The Hurt Locker” on home video. Buying it might be in order.
