Oklahoma City police are asking for the public's help locating a 2-month-old child who was taken from OU Medical Center on Wednesday while being treated for possibly serious injuries.

Hospital officials notified OU police, who searched the area and notified Oklahoma City police Wednesday night, Knight said.

“A lot of the information that was given to the hospital by the father has turned out as erroneous information or bogus information, so that's making it even more complicated on finding them and locating this child,” Knight said. “We do not know for certain that that is even the right name of the child.”

The three were in a red Ford F-150 with Texas plates and a sticker on the back window that reads “BOSS.”

“This isn't a case where we are trying to find these people to put them in jail." Knight told The Oklahoman last week. He added that police had wanted to locate the child and "check its welfare to make sure the child is getting the proper medical treatment it needs,”.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts two adults is asked to call 911.
