A custody hearing ended after more than three hours at the Cherokee County courthouse today, where Baby Veronica’s adoptive parents are facing the biological family.

The biological family exited the courthouse, flanked by authorities and attorneys, who did not comment. It's unclear what was decided in the hearing before Special Judge Holli Wells.

The biological father's attorney, Clark Brewster, was asked if a gag order was in place, and he replied: "You could call it that."
