According to the National Weather Service, Norman Forecast Office: Oklahoma City accumulated 0.8 inches of snow on April 14, 1953 – 61 years ago today.

From the National Weather Service, Norman: High pressure will continue to build in from the northwest, with gusty northwest winds and chilly afternoon temperatures.  Head of this system, light snow and flurries will quickly exit to the east across northern Oklahoma.
