Bankers, loan strings keep Oklahoma City construction grounded

Home construction is down drastically in Oklahoma City , but more than slackened demand and tougher mortgage lending standards are causing it, a leading builder said.

Commercial construction loans are coming with more strings attached and are harder to come by, said Jeff Click , president of the Central Oklahoma Home Builders Association .
