Banking on babies: Study could benefit Oklahoma

M ORE than 1,300 Oklahoma babies have a $1,000 college savings piggybank. The question is whether their parents will chip in down the road. Count us among those curious about the answer.

Last week, state Treasurer Scott Meacham announced that about 2,700 families are part of a privately funded study looking at whether seed money will influence how much parents set aside for their child's potential college expense...
