Toronto eliminates Barons from AHL playoffs

Marlies win 3-1, takes series 4-1, send Barons home for summer.

TORONTO — After a 45-win, 99-point regular season and another eight victories in the playoffs, the Oklahoma City Barons’ season is over after dropping a tight 3-1 Game 5 decision to the Toronto Marlies at Ricoh Coliseum to lose the best-of-seven AHL Western Conference Final in five games.
