OKC has won the first three games of a four-game road trip that ends Sunday afternoon in Charlotte. ... The Barons are in 10th place in the AHL's Western Conference, four points shy of eighth, the playoff cutoff line. ... OKC snapped an 0-6 skid against Charlotte with an 8-5 win Friday night. ... The Barons have won six of their last eight, the only two losses coming on the road at Charlotte two weeks ago. ... Mark Arcobello, the Barons' all-time leading scorer, has scored seven points in three games since being sent down by Edmonton. ... The Barons' leading scorer is team captain Anton Lander (32 points in 31 games). ... Roman Horak, obtained in an early season trade, recorded the Barons' first hat track of the season in Friday's win. ... Goaltender Richard Bachman has won his last four starts to improve to 12-12-4 with a 3.08 goals-against average and .909 save percentage. ... Charlotte, the Carolina Hurricanes' AHL affiliate, is led by Aaron Palushaj (41 points). Palushaj has tallied 11 points in seven games vs. OKC. With 39 points each, Zach Boychuk and Chris Terry are among the AHL's top scorers. The Checkers' top goalie is John Muse (16-10-3, 2.71 GAA, .913 save percentage).
