Records: Abbotsford is 11-4-1-0 in the Western Division and is tied with Oklahoma City, which is 11-4-0-1. Both teams have 23 standings points, which leads the entire Western Conference.

Scouting report: Abbotsford is the American Hockey League affiliate of the Calgary Flames. The Barons are the AHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers. … After a six-game winning streak, the Barons dropped two straight but stopped the bleeding with a key 5-4 victory at Rockford on Wednesday night. “The biggest frustration with our team right now is not what teams are exposing on us, it's what we're just giving them,” OKC coach Todd Nelson said. … The Heat has the best road record in the AHL at 9-1. The Barons are 6-2 on the road.

Up next: A rematch will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. inside the Cox Center. After playing six games in eight days, the Barons won't play again until next Friday at Grand Rapids, followed by a game at Rockford on Nov. 26 and then back to Grand Rapids on Nov. 27.
