Edmonton on Friday recalled defenseman Jeff Petry.
Petry was assigned to the Barons on Oct. 19 and played in two games. He registered one assist. He became the first Barons player recalled by the Oilers this season.
A second-round choice in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, Petry began the season with the Oilers and played three games before being assigned to Oklahoma City.
ON THE ROAD AGAIN
After a five-game home stand, the Barons will set out on the road for their next three.
Oklahoma City will play at Houston on Saturday night and at San Antonio on Sunday afternoon before traveling to Abbotsford on Nov. 3.
The Barons won't return to the Cox Convention Center until Nov. 8, when they host Toronto at 10:30 a.m.
“Sometimes it's good to go on the road after something like this,” said Barons coach Todd Nelson after Friday's 2-1 loss to Charlotte.
“Right now, it's a good time for us to get back on the road. It's a good time for us to learn how to win games on the road until we come back home here.”
