Bart and Nadia Sports Experience coming up

by David Morris Published: January 7, 2014

Bart Conner and Nadia Comaneci stopped by the OPUBCO Studios this afternoon. They taped a few videos on our green screen for upcoming commercials.

Afterwards, I sat down with the gold medal winning couple to discuss their upcoming Bart and Nadia Sports Experience at the Cox Convention Center on Feb. 21-23. The Saturday portion of this event is free to the public and a family favorite, drawing over 8,000 attendees last year.

And yes, I did lead off with a hard hitting question about pancakes, prompted by a Tweet from Bart Conner back in November. Turns out it was son Dylan’s idea. Pancakes are always a good idea!

Bart and Nadia had just returned from Los Angeles. They told me after the taping about plans to walk the red carpet at the Golden Globes this upcoming weekend. Not only would they be among the few to walk the red carpet, they would be attending a Gold and Golden event, pairing gold medalists and Hollywood.

Their work leading up to their Sports Experience will prevent them from attending or working the Sochi Olympics in Russia.
