BARTLESVILLE - A $100,000 bond was set Friday for a 37-year-old Bartlesville man charged with felony child abuse after allegedly kicking a 9-year-old in the groin so hard that his injury required surgery. Special Judge Kyra Williams this week ordered there to be no contact between the victim and Joel Gray Anderson, who was arrested Thursday after admitting to Bartlesville police that he had kicked the boy. Anderson demonstrated his version of the kick for police several times during an interview saying he did not mean to hurt the boy, according to court records.
