Spotlight on Fort Gibson Lake
The BASS Federation Nation Central Divisional begins Wednesday at Fort Gibson Lake.

The top dozen anglers and co-anglers from each of eight states will be competing at Fort Gibson Lake for spots in the BASS Federation Nation national championship in Alabama.

At the national championship, the amateur anglers are fishing for a berth in the Bassmaster Classic.

The six anglers competing in the boater division from Oklahoma are Glenn Cunningham of Piedmont, Mark Jeffreys of Norman, Robert DeGraffenreid of Oklahoma City, Lee Sanders of Stillwater, Joel Jacobs of Oklahoma City and Jeff Tolle of Jenks.

The six anglers in the non-boater division are Keith Blackstone, Choctaw; Brad Eads, Stillwater; Dale Roden, Stillwater; Will Acton, Oklahoma City; Royce Dennington, Bartlesville; and George Toalson, Claremore.

In addition to Oklahoma, states with representatives at Fort Gibson this week will be Nebraska, Kansas, Texas, Missouri. Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi.

CASH4BASS: Waurika Lake is the site of the next CASH4BASS tournament on Saturday. Entries and payments must be received by Thursday to avoid a $20 late fee.

Anglers will use the Wichita Ridge Ramp (Corum Bridge) and should arrive by 5:30 a.m. For more information, call Bert Roberson at (580) 252-0965.
