Batman (1989) to be shown Tuesday at Harkins

Harkins is continuing its Harkins Tuesday Night Classics series.  This Tuesday, Jan. 14, the theater, 150 East Reno Avenue, will show the 1989 “Batman” film, starring Michael Keaton as Batman and Jack Nicholson as The Joker.

The film was a giant hit for Warner Bros., generating $250 million in box office and providing fuel for the 1990s comic-book boom.

Here’s the information on the upcoming schedule from Harkins:

Harkins Theatres is bringing classic film titles back to the big screen with Harkins Tuesday Night Classics. Every Tuesday at 7:00 p.m., movie lovers can relive classic on screen moments from year’s past with movies like Batman (1989), Sixteen Candles and Sleepless in Seattle to name a few. Harkins Tuesday Night Classics will feature timeless film collections, touching love stories, Oscar Winners and more.

 The series kicks off with four cinematic classics and transitions into Valentine’s Day favorites.
