Baylor ends season No. 1 in total offense, scoring

PERFECT KICKER, AGAIN: For the second straight year, the nation's top field-goal kicker made all of his attempts. Boston College's Nate Freese went 20 for 20 this season and finished his career 70 of 81. Last season Tulane's Cairo Santos was 21 for 21.

EXTRA POINTS: When Auburn took a 7-3 lead against Florida State in the first quarter Monday, it marked the first time in 583 minutes, 42 seconds of game time that the Seminoles had trailed. ... Brandin Cooks of Oregon State led the nation with 133.1 yards receiving a game, edging Davante Adams' average of 132.2 for Fresno State. Cooks' 35 plays of 20 yards or longer were most in the nation. ... San Jose State linebacker Keith Smith's 159 tackles were most in the FBS. ... Washington State's Damante Horton intercepted five passes and returned three of them for touchdowns.
