Bedford Camera and Video, formerly Epperson Photo-Video, has installed new murals of modern Oklahoma icons along the building's exterior in anticipation of the new owner's anniversary.

Bob Palmer, a local artist who has created other murals in the city, painted eight separate panels that include images of the Crystal Bridge, Devon Tower, Survivor Tree and the SkyDance Bridge.

Three other panels will be added for contests, photo of the month or advertising, general manager Eric Williams said.

Installation of the murals comes just before the Aug. 9 anniversary of Bedford, an Arkansas-based company, taking over the store, Williams said. It's part of an ongoing process to make a deeper connection with the local community, he said.
