OU-OSU could be for Big 12 South title
South of the Red River, they're talking about a Texas A&M-Texas showdown for the Big 12 South title. That could happen. If A&M beats OU and Nebraska, and Texas beats either OSU or Kansas State, then the Longhorns and Aggies will decide the South.

But try this game out while you ponder a leftover turkey sandwich: Bedlam for the Big 12 South title.
It's a longshot, but it could happen.
We'll know by Saturday night the fate of the Cowboys and maybe the Sooners. OU needs to take care of business by winning at A&M, but the Sooners also need help, and that help must first come from OSU.
The Cowboys play at Texas on Saturday night, and the list of potential pitfalls is short for the Longhorns, after surviving scares against Nebraska and Texas Tech.
Assuming Kansas State can't beat Texas, OU's hopes for the South rest on both OSU and A&M beating Texas. If Texas loses twice and OU wins out, the Sooners are the South champs.
But if OSU and A&M both beat Texas, and OU beats A&M, and A&M beats Nebraska, and OSU beats Texas Tech, then the Bedlam showdown on Nov. 25 is for the South title. If all that happens except A&M beats Nebraska, then A&M would be the South champ with an OSU victory over OU.
Did you get that? All very complicated and probably farfetched. Texas isn't likely to lose once at home, much less twice.
Still, here's a review on how OU can win the South:
1. Win out to finish 7-1.
2. Texas loses two of its final three games (to OSU, Kansas State and A&M).
Here's how OSU can win the South:
1. Win out to finish 6-2.
2. Texas loses to A&M.
3. A&M loses to OU and Nebraska.
