Man in motion
Sam Bradford, OU, QB

Bradford completed 30 of 44 passes for 370 yards and four touchdowns, which may be getting old hat for those who follow him closely, yet still qualifies as ridiculous, even in this day and age. As proof, he became OU’s career record holder for touchdown passes (82) and the single-season record holder for yards (4,082).

Hot read
Jermaine Gresham, OU, TE

Gresham kept finding holes in the Cowboys secondary, catching nine passes for 158 yards — both career bests — and two touchdowns. Even when he wasn’t the primary read, on a pass intended for Manny Johnson, Gresham was on the spot to catch a deflected pass and take it 73 yards for a touchdown.

Second read
Damian Davis, OSU, WR

With much attention being paid to Dez Bryant and Brandon Pettigrew, Davis became a frequent target of Cowboys quarterback Zac Robinson. He caught five passes for 79 yards — both career highs.

Horsecollar’d
Ricky Price, Quinton Moore, T.J. Bell

Safeties, OSU

Somebody has to be responsible for Gresham’s big day. And Bradford’s big day. And while there’s blame to be shared, these guys were found chasing more often than covering.
