Bedlam football game to air in ESPNU marathon

OU's overtime victory ranked as No. 15 game of 2012 season by ESPN

ESPN ranked the Top 25 games of the 2012 college football season and ESPNU is televising select games from that list. OU's 51-48 overtime win over OSU was selected as No. 15 and will air at 5 p.m. Saturday.

An ESPN stats team, led by ESPN college football research analyst Brad Edwards, determined Nos. 25-6, and left the order of the top five games to be decided by fans through a SportsNation poll on

The Top 5 games of 2012 were narrowed down to: Texas A&M vs. Alabama, Outback Bowl: South Carolina vs. Michigan, Alabama vs. LSU, Stanford vs. Oregon and SEC championship: Alabama vs. Georgia.

— Fan voting continues in the quarterfinals of the ESPN Ultimate Team of the past 25 years. Ninth-seeded OU is alive after beating Alabama in the first round and will face No. 1 Miami in the quarterfinals. The Hurricane, featuring Andre Johnson, Ed Reed and Ray Lewis, logged the most votes for any team in the first round. Other matchups are No. 5 Florida-No. 13 Nebraska, No. 3 Ohio State-No. 11 Florida State and No. 7 Texas-No. 15 Auburn. Fans can vote online at, on the mobile Web at and via social platforms by tweeting votes using the hashtag #UltimateTeam. The Ultimate Team winner will be announced Aug. 6.

— Fox Sports Southwest kicks off its Dallas Cowboys coverage Saturday with nightly training camp shows. “Cowboys Training Camp Today” will air at 10:30 p.m. or after Texas Rangers postgame shows. Cowboys radio voice Brad Sham and Cowboys Insider Mickey Spagnola will host the 15-minute updates.
