Participate in our Power Lunch chats Monday-Friday at 11 a.m. at NewsOK.com/sports On whether college basketball popularity is down from past seasons: Yes, college basketball attendance has been a decade-long problem. Terrible scheduling, bad calendar, lack of talent, no stars. It's not nearly the sport it was 15-20 years ago. I don't know what can be done to fix it. On which player will be better in the NFL, OU's DeMarco Murray or OSU's Kendall Hunter: I'm going to go with DeMarco in the NFL because of the kind of tailback he turned into. A 4-yards-a-carry guy who can catch like the dickens. Murray was really good at getting an extra yard or two after a 2-yard run. And that's what the NFL is all about. On the Thunder trading for Nuggets big man Nene before the deadline: Here's what I see with the Nuggets. if they trade Melo, especially for Bynum, the Nuggets would have a surplus of big men. I think they might look at a Green for Nene trade, if they could sign Green. Nene has one year left on his contract, at $11 million, but can opt-out of the contract. So that's all a long shot, but of all the trades people have thrown out, that's the one I like. I love Nene.
