On why Kevin Durant came off the bench in the Team USA exhibition game:

Looks like politics to me. Hard to tell Kobe or Carmelo they're coming off the bench. Meanwhile, Durant would take such a request pretty well. I'll bet he plays the second-most minutes on the team, but might not start.

On whether or not LeBron James is a better player than Michael Jordan:

I think LeBron is a better all-around player than Jordan. He can do more things on the court. I don't know if he's a greater player, but he's clearly a better all-around player. Better passer, better defender, better inside presence.

On being part of the Sports Animal with Jim Traber and Al Eschbach:

I enjoy being with Jim and Al. They don't let me talk much, but that lets me get some knitting done.
