The Oklahoman sports columnist Berry Tramel answered questions from readers in today's Power Lunch chat. Read the entire chat recap here. Participate in our Power Lunch chats Monday-Friday at 11 a.m. at NewsOK.com/sports On Oklahoma State hiring Todd Monken as its new offensive coordinator: I think it's an excellent hire. I like Monken. I didn't get to know him well, but the OSU guys raved about him. He was their favorite. I think Monken will be a PR home run, and the NFL isn't in the business of hiring bozos. The Jags are a quality organization, Jack Del Rio is a quality coach, and they handed their quarterbacks coach job to Monken. So I think Monken will be great. On why Thunder center Nenad Krstic doesn't post up more often: Krstic has his moments when he backs down a guy. But he's also turnover-prone at times on the low block. Bottom line -- Krstic can do that against some guys, some guys not. On how many men's basketball team's the Big 12 will send to the NCAA Tournament: I think it will be six. I think Texas, Kansas, Missouri and Baylor are locks. I think A&M will make it; winning Wednesday night at Colorado was huge. I also think KSU will work its way in, but the Wildcats will have to get it together. If not KSU, OSU could play its way in, but it will be tough. On former Oklahoma State forward Tony Allen, now playing with the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA: I love Tony Allen. The Grizzlies would be nuts to let him go. He's a better ballplayer than O.J. Mayo. I don't know if Memphis knows that or not.
