Well, let's see. OU is scheduled to host Baylor next season and go to TCU, so that shouldn't be a problem. Looks like they've got that rotation OK. But that's a good point. OU (and OSU) will have bigger profiles in Dallas. But less in Houston, because of A&M's departure. If I was OU or OSU, I would do all I could to get games scheduled with Houston and Rice. I'd try to play them home and home, if necessary. For that matter, A&M some, too.

On who the Sooners might hire to be their new linebacker coach:

I have no idea. I'm just like you guys. I've just read the names that we trotted out. Many of them seem good to me. Personally, I'd go offer Gary Gibbs the job. You want a defensive coach, there's you one. I think he's still safe with the KC Chiefs, since Romeo Crennel was retained, but you never know. Maybe Gibbs would like to come home. If Dave Campo can coach the Dallas secondary several years after he was fired as head coach, maybe Gibbs can return.
