As Gundy had a Texas/OU problem ( and still might to a certain degree), does Bob Stoops have a Texas Tech problem now?

Great question. Stoops hasn't won in Lubbock since 2003, and now the Red Raiders are winning in Norman. The game Oct. 6 looms as huge. The Sooners will be tested.

When do you think the Harden and Ibaka situation will be over? As soon as they get back from the Olympics or during the season nearing the trade deadline?

Neither. The key deadline is Oct. 31. The Thunder can extend their contracts until the season starts. So that's the big question. Both Thabo and Nick signed extensions just before the start of the season.

WVU is getting a lot of attention. But if you watched the last year they struggled in a lot of area (running the ball and OL play). The Orange Bowl was the only time the playe a complete game.

West Virginia's offense indeed struggled a decent amount of the time. But the Mountaineers got going late, particularly in that Orange Bowl. I think it will be interesting.

If Texas goes 7-5 again and still has not decided on a QB, how restless will they be with Mack Brown?

They ought to be storming the bastille.
