Bethany festival finds a new kind of success

BETHANY — For the tens of thousands of people who walked along the snaking sidewalks and streets of Eldon Lyon Park in Bethany, the Fourth of July smelled like funnel cakes and cinnamon rolls and tasted like lemonade and Indian tacos. It sounded like guitars and roaring engines and looked like flapping flags and smiling children.

Those in attendance experienced all this and more at Bethany’s Centennial...
