Bicyclists pedal for funds for J.D. McCarty Center in Norman

The 19th annual Norman Conquest bicycle tour featured five routes for hundreds of cyclists who rode to raise money for the J.D. McCarty Center’s Camp ClapHans.

Hundreds of riders from across Oklahoma and some from surrounding states participated in the 19th annual Norman Conquest bicycle tour to benefit the J.D. McCarty Center.

Proceeds from the Saturday event will provide scholarships for Camp ClapHans, an outreach program provided by the center for children with developmental disabilities.

The ride was sponsored by the Bicycle League of Norman and offered cyclists a choice of five routes ranging from 10 to 64 miles.
