Big 12 baseball: Baylor on a hot streak; Texas A&M dominating

The Bears are the league's hottest team, winning eight straight, including six in a row in the conference.

Texas A&M: The Aggies' dominance is easily recognized, as they rank No. 1 in the Big 12 in batting (. 315 batting average) and pitching (2.74 ERA). Reigning league Player of the Year Tyler Naquin leads the league with a .421 average and has 40 hits in 25 games.

Texas Tech: The Red Raiders' hot start has been doused somewhat, with a 1-5 record through two league weekends. Still, second baseman Jamodrick McGruder ranks in the top 10 of five different offensive categories — triples (third), walks (eighth), stolen bases (eighth), runs (ninth) and on-base percentage (10th).
