Big 12 basketball: Kansas picked to win men's title; OSU 3rd, OU 7th

Kansas was the unanimous choice to win the Big 12 men's basketball title for the 2012-2013 season.

The Big 12 released the coaches' preseason poll Thursday morning.

Oklahoma State was picked to finish third in the league while Oklahoma was picked seventh.

In the preseason poll, Kansas received nine first place votes and Baylor received one.

Big 12 teams begin the season on Nov. 9 with eight schools playing. Conference play begins Jan. 5.
