Big 12 beats out the SEC based on its quarterbacks

The Big 12 has played six conference games so far. Average score: 48-23.

The SEC has played 15 conference games so far. Average score: 26-16.

College football’s two premier leagues in 2008 are vastly different. The Big 12 is high-scoring, the Southeastern Conference low-scoring.
