Big 12 football: Can OSU's offense produce enough to avoid upset vs. TCU?

by Berry Tramel Published: October 18, 2013

OSU struggled offensively against West Virginia and Kansas State. The Cowboys converted just six of 20 third-down conversions against WVU and rushed for just 111 yards. Then against KSU, OSU converted just four of 14 third downs and rushed for only 85 yards.

And TCU's defense is a big upgrade over West Virginia and Kansas State.

The Frogs are a disappointing 3-3, but TCU has played LSU, Texas Tech and OU all close, and that trio is a combined 17-2.

Gary Patterson is a superb coach. His teams rarely beat themselves. Is this OSU offense good enough to beat TCU? The Cowboys are a touchdown favorite Saturday in Stillwater, but let's go with the Frogs in the upset.
