Before the season, OU's trip to Lubbock flashed warning signs. The Sooners haven't' won at Texas Tech since 2003, it's the week before Texas, veteran Red Raider quarterback Seth Doege.
And that was before we learned Tech is better than anticipated and OU is worse. Tech hasn't played much of a schedule, but the Red Raiders did win 24-13 last week at Iowa State, which had won 41-7 in Lubbock last season.
When we last saw the Sooners, they were losing at home 24-19 to Kansas State, a team OU had beaten 58-17 last October.
If this game was going to be dicey even before Tech rose and the Sooners fell, what else is there to think? OU is a 4 1/2-point favorite, but go with Tech in the upset.
