Big 12 football: Ole Miss has Texas on upset alert

On Jan. 2, 2010, Mississippi beat OSU 21-7 in the Cotton Bowl. In Ole Miss' 26 games since, the Rebels have just one victory over a BCS conference foe: Kentucky in October 2010.

But the Rebs have a new coach, Hugh Freeze, of “Blind Side” fame, and a new quarterback, junior-college transfer Bo Wallace.

Texas actually recruited Wallace before backing off, telling him it would stick with holdovers David Ash and Case McCoy.

Now it's Ash vs. Wallace in UT's first visit to a non-Arkansas SEC campus since 1991 (Mississippi State). The Longhorns are 11 1/2-point favorites, but let's go with Wallace and the revenge factor. Ole Miss in the upset.
