If our rankings of the Big 12's top games this year are any indication, you won't have to look beyond Oklahoma and Oklahoma State for the league's best matchups. Here's our look at the best games of the Big 12 football season:
1. OU at West Virginia
Picked 1-2 in preseason polls, this game could have a major impact on the conference title. The Sooners' first trip to Morgantown, W. Va., is being touted as one of the biggest home games in WVU history.
2. West Virginia at OSU
Mountaineers coach Dana Holgorsen, who spiced up OSU's offense in his one year as offensive coordinator, returns to Stillwater for a game that could have major ramifications on the Big 12 race.
3. OSU at OU
OSU's last four trips to Norman have been Bedlam blowouts, but the Cowboys proved the past two seasons they're a much improved road team. OSU went 12-1 outside of Payne County in 2010 and 2011.
4. OU vs. Texas (at Dallas)
The annual showdown in the Cotton Bowl has lost some luster during a two-year Longhorns slump. Texas still hasn't settled on a quarterback, but the Red River Rivalry always is intriguing.
