A SEASON OF SATURDAYS — The Big 12 football schedule is out, finally. Here's a Saturday-by-Saturday look at the schedule, ranked from best to worst.

6. Week 10 (Nov 17)

OU at West Virginia, Texas Tech at OSU, Kansas State at Baylor, Iowa State at Kansas

Depending on how well both teams have played the first couple months of the season, OU at West Virginia could be among the best games in the country. They have history, but being league foes will surely add to it. Texas Tech at OSU could provide some good drama, too.

7. Week 6 (Oct 20)

Kansas at OU, Iowa State at OSU, Kansas State at West Virginia, Baylor at Texas, Texas Tech at TCU

Kansas State at West Virginia is interesting, but none of the rest jumps off the page. Baylor has had Texas's number but could be 0-2 in league play heading into that game. Texas Tech at TCU has potential, but like the Bears, the Red Raiders could be reeling a bit.

8. Week 4 (Oct 6)

OU at Texas Tech, West Virginia at Texas, Iowa State at TCU, Kansas at Kansas State

West Virginia at Texas is the kind of matchup that would've had people clamoring in the past. It may lose some of its intrigue as they play more, but in the Mountaineers' first season in the Big 12, their game against the Longhorns will be fascinating. Remember, too, that OU always seems to have interesting games at Texas Tech.

9. Week 3 (Sept 29)

Texas at OSU, Baylor at West Virginia, Texas Tech at Iowa State

Can OSU beat Texas again? The Cowboys have done it in back-to-back seasons in Austin. Now, they'll get a crack at the Horns in Stillwater. This is also the week that West Virginia plays its Big 12 opener. Baylor gets the honor of being the first to head to Morgantown.

10. Week 7 (Oct 27)

TCU at OSU, Baylor at Iowa State, Texas Tech at Kansas State, Texas at Kansas

TCU makes its first trip to the state of Oklahoma as a member of the Big 12. It's also the first time either of our state teams plays one of the conference newbies.

11. Week 2 (Sept 22)

Kansas State at OU

Big 12 play doesn't exactly get off to a rousing start with only one game played each of the first two weeks. This will be an early test for both teams as they have a chance to both have top-10 or 15 rankings.

12. Week 1 (Sept 15)

TCU at Kansas

League newcomer TCU gets the opening week of conference play all to itself. Oh, Charlie Weis and his Jayhawks will be there, too.
