After another disappointing season, Texas still finds itself in the top 25 rankings of recruiting classes, according to multiple recruiting services.
Oklahoma, though, has this season's top recruiting class in the Big 12. But after those two teams, there's a steady dropoff.
Here's a look at the recruiting class for each (non-Oklahoma or Oklahoma State) team in the Big 12:
BAYLOR
Top recruit Robbie Rhodes is set to make an immediate impact at wide receiver, and the Bears could already have a quarterback of the future in three-star recruit Chris Johnson, a dual threat. Baylor is also trying to shore up its inconsistent defense, and postgraduate Brian Nance will be a big boost.

KANSAS
More than half of the class comes from the juco ranks, with defensive tackle Marquel Combs leading the way. Combs is one of four defensive linemen the Jayhawks signed from junior colleges. Kansas, though, failed to adequately address their receivers, which did not catch a TD last season, with just two additions.

The Wildcats have some nice players in this class, namely their top three recruits. Defensive end Tanner Wood could be the best in the class and is likely to make an immediate impact. Junior college QB Jake Waters will compete for the starting job, and could win it.

IOWA STATE
There's not too much flash in the Cyclones' class, but they recruited well on the offensive line. Jake Campos turned down nine other schools, including OU, before committing. Campos was also committed to Missouri before switching in December. He will need time to develop, but is projected to be an impact player.
