TCU

Kyle Hicks is the top player in the class, but has a history of injuries. He broke his foot in 2011 and tore his ACL in 2012. The Horned Frogs failed to land a receiver, though. They did, however, bring in depth defensively.

TEXAS

Texas emphasized offensive linemen and it did well. Darius James is the top-ranked center in the nation and Kent Perkins is the No. 3-ranked tackle, according to Rivals.com. The Longhorns' failed to adequately improve their defense, which after their dismal 2012 season could be a problem.

TEXAS TECH

New coach Kliff Kingsbury has done well offensively, particularly at wide receiver. Devin Lauderdale and Gary Moore are both expected to make an immediate impact. Quarterback Davis Webb likely won't play for a few years but he has scouts raving about the possibilities. This class, though, lacks an immediate impact on defense.

This is a big recruiting class for West Virginia and coach Dana Holgorsen with it being the first class he can call his own. The Mountaineers' defense was porous last season and they tried to address that with a class featuring linebackers Darrien Howard (No. 10 on Rivals.com) and former Southmoore standout d'Vante Henry.
