1B Oklahoma stocks took a hit Monday as the broader market tumbled. Oil and natural gas prices slid amid a historically tight credit market and fears of economic malaise. Shares of several state-based publicly traded energy companies set 52-week lows as the Dow skidded more than 800 points Monday before recovering to finish the day off 370 points. The Dow closed below 10,000 for the first time in four years. Crude oil futures fell to an eight-month low, closing at $87.81 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
