Oklahoma State had its largest recruiting weekend last weekend. But the Cowboys will host perhaps their most important recruits this coming weekend.
Two of OSU’s top remaining targets — Jenks defensive back Steven Parker and River Ridge, La. (John Curtis) linebacker Kenny Young — will be on campus, according the Rivals. Both players are rated four-star prospects by Rivals and are currently uncommitted.
Parker’s late visit to Stillwater could be regarded as somewhat of a surprise. He has more than 20 offers, including Alabama, Auburn, Baylor, Kansas State, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M and Wisconsin. He’s scheduled to visit Auburn on Jan. 31.
Young’s other offers include Arkansas, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas A&M and UCLA. According to Rivals, he’s scheduled to visit UCLA on Jan. 31.
Kirk Tucker, a three-star safety from Tucker (Ga.) Tucker, is also scheduled to visit this weekend. He was a former Stanford commit but did not get admitted to the school.
