And Tom Briscoe, decked out in his own black leather jacket and Santa hat, rode his sparkling green custom built Volkswagon trike.
The two longtime Oklahoma City bikers were among several hundred people who participated in the recent Oklahoma City Toy Ride at Woodson Park in south Oklahoma City.
Ed Glendinning, 74, said the Dec. 9 event was the 20th annual bikers' toy run. He said he wasn't surprised to see a large crowd of about 300 people who either rode in the toy ride or watched from the sidelines even though the weather was chilly.
“We love the underprivileged children in the Oklahoma City area and they are the kids that get these toys,” Glendinning said.
“It just breaks my heart that a child wouldn't get a Christmas. That's why we do it.”
Bikers and their families came with toys to donate to faith-based charity Feed the Children. Some bikers groups donated money to purchase more toys.
