While in town for his first ever basketball camp this week, former OU star and current Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin will also host a bowling event for charity.
The event, Bowling Down Cancer, will be held Friday at AMF Moore Lanes on 420 SW 6 in Moore. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and bowling is scheduled to begin at 7.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Wilson Holloway scholarship fund, which Griffin started in honor of his friend and former high school teammate who died Feb. 16 from Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The event also will benefit Stand Up To Cancer.
