The Oklahoma City Blazers are keeping their 7:10 scheduled start time tonight against New Mexico as there was no way to accommodate both Central Hockey League teams with a change. The game at the Ford Center will be played at the same time as the televised Bedlam football game between Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.

The Blazers played in Fort Worth, Texas, on Friday night, which is 200 miles from Oklahoma City. New Mexico was at Odessa, Texas, 450 miles from Oklahoma City.

Blazers management would have considered moving up today’s faceoff to the early afternoon, but it would not have been fair to New Mexico since road trips in the Central Hockey League are made by charter bus.

The OU-OSU game will be on all the televisions at the Ford Center, and the score will be flashed on the scoreboard.

After tonight’s game, the Blazers are idle until Dec. 6 at Tulsa.
