A quick look at Carl Albert-Shawnee October 01, 2009 Here’s Bob’s look at the Carl Albert-Shawnee game tomorrow night. →Why bother: Because Shawnee’s offense, led by quarterback Brayle Brown and running back Jordan Acock, has been one of the most unstoppable forces during the first four weeks of the season. Shawnee is scoring just under 50 points per game... Read More
Santa Fe: Brian Mills video... October 01, 2009 By Robert Przybylo BPrzybylo@opubco.com The top reason for the resurgence for Edmond Santa Fe has been this man, senior RB Brian Mills. Adrian Fletcher scores from 14 yards out with 5:04 to give Del City a strange 13-12 victory. Santa Fe scored on three safeties, yep, three. Think this says a lot about Del City. Maybe it would have lost a game... Read More

There has been a... Read More

Casady: Q&A with John Ratliff... September 30, 2009 By Robert Przybylo BPrzybylo@opubco.com Casady is in a weird spot. Not just because it’s not in the OSSAA, but also because it’s one of the only schools that has field hockey and a boys volleyball team. Because of that, sometimes those sports get lost in the shuffle. Here is a Q&A with senior... Read More
Heritage: Barry Sanders Jr. video... September 30, 2009 By Robert Przybylo BPrzybylo@opubco.com Or maybe I should say “another Barry” video. Volleyball: More shuffling atop the 6A poll September 30, 2009 I’ve officially stopped trying to figure out the coaches’ volleyball polls at OKRankings.com. One thing that seems to be apparent is that head-to-head victories don’t mean a whole lot. Two weeks ago, Tulsa Union had defeated Edmond Santa Fe, but remained behind them in the rankings. Then last week, when... Read More
