Boating safety class offered Saturday

A boating safety course is being offered Saturday in Oklahoma City by the Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla.

The free, one-day training course covers topics such as boating laws, boat safety, navigation rules, safety equipment and more.

The course covers personal watercraft use, sail boating, motor boating and paddling.

The class will be held at New Hope Christian Church, 12323 S Pennsylvania beginning at 9 a.m.
