Bob Childers tribute show TONIGHT as Eskimo Joe's will raise money for Red Dirt Relief Fund

STILLWATER – An all-star lineup of musicians celebrate the life, music and influence of the godfather of Red Dirt music, Bob Childers, at a special tribute show and silent auction starting at 5 p.m. today at Eskimo Joe’s, 501 W Elm.

Hosted by the Red Dirt Rangers, the lineup will include Bo Phillips Band, Monica Taylor, Tom Skinner, Chuck Dunlap, Rick Reiley, Jake Moffat, Chad Sullins and the Last Call Coalition, Cale Lester, Brandon Jackson, Kaitlin Butts, Ali Harter & Kierston White (Tequila Songbirds), Ryan Reid, Don Nelson, Hosty Duo and Cody Canada & The Departed.

Silent auction items include a one-week stay at Lake Roosevelt (near Spokane, Wash.), tandem skydive from Scissortail Skydiving, two tickets to Jason Boland & The Stragglers at Cain’s Ballroom, two VIP tickets to this week’s Calf Fry festival at the Tumbleweed, autographed musician merch and more.

The all-ages show will benefit the Red Dirt Relief Fund, a nonprofit that provides a safety net of critical assistance to Oklahoma musicians and music people in times of need.
