On Heritage Hall running back Barry Sanders being visited by Alabama coach Nick Saban and a possible recruiting infraction:

The NCAA I'm sure will look into it. You're allowed to say 'hello' to a junior at this point. One could make a very valid argument that Alabama coach Nick Saban said a lot more than that to Sanders and to Springfield, Mo., prospect Dorial Green-Beckham. I wouldn't think it would be too serious of a violation.

On the favorite and surprise team in Class 6A boys basketball:

I think the biggest surprise team is definitely Putnam West. I figured (as I'm sure some others did) that without Tyler Neal and Amric Fields and coach Tim Stogsdill that this team would fall apart. All Lenny Bert's club has done is won at Santa Fe, defeated Midwest City and came from behind to beat a good Stillwater team last night. Chat Recap: Bob Przybylo
