Bob Stoops says OU's DeMarco Murray expected to play in Big 12 Championship game

Oklahoma running back DeMarco Murray is expected to play in the Big 12 Championship on Saturday against Nebraska, Sooner coach Bob Stoops announced Thursday evening.

Murray, who injured his knee last weekend at Oklahoma State, was able to practice Thursday.

Murray is the Sooners’ leading rusher, with 1,053 yards and 14 touchdowns, and has also caught 64 passes for 535 yards and five touchdowns. This week, he was named to the All-Big 12′s first team.
